Located next to the Guadalupe mine, the houses aim to establish a dialogue, providing continuity, understanding the importance of the mines and their processes as foundational events in the city. The houses adapt to the topography with a stone foundation using the same rigging as the mine, and roofs above the foundation allow the mine to be brought into the interior of the houses. Using the same constructive and formal gestures of mining buildings, we aim to generate a contemporary language that represents another layer within the landscape.
